NRI.TO is being gamed!

October 30th, 2009

I was send a msg from a reader regarding what happened to NRI.TO when the stock dropped in value by more than half and two minutes later, went back to up hovering around 35 cents. So, what happened?

Luckily for me, when this whole mess happened, my cottage had no internet for over a day and a half, otherwise, seeing all this happening realtime I would have probably sold as the stock was plummeting and got a rope out of the shed! I would have died from a heart attack after seeing it go from 37 cents a share to 13.5 cents within just a few minutes!

So, what’s going on behind the scenes?

NRI.TO is a small Canadian company with lots of cash, good products and a big contract that is waiting FDA approval to enter the USA. For the past three months, the stock wants to go UP but a trader called ANONYMOUS is connected with a computer loaded with shares, and each time the stock goes up .005, it sells lots of shares to keep the price down!

This is direct manipulation of a stock, illegal! So, I called NRI and talked to their finance head, there was nothing they could do so I called the TSX who sent me to IIROCK, who are suppose to be the market regulators (market police). They took my information that I had gathered and did NOTHING to fix the problem. This is 100% illegal and has been going on for months and yet they do nothing so I sent them an e-mail asking them what I needed to do to get a job there getting paid crazy money to sit on my ass and do nothing. They didn’t reply back.

I have reviewed the bullboards etc. and lots of people lost lots of money while ANONYMOUS cleared close to 18 million dollars, got a bunch of stock for close to nothing and even got away with the whole thing while IIROCK plays dumb.

I’m looking foward to Nov 4th now, that is when, I hope, they get FDA approved and the stock shoots up!

Diversifying out of NRI.TO

September 27th, 2009

Having only one share to watch (NRI.TO) made my trading and news on this blog cease to a halt but I’ve decided to divest myself of 30% of NRI.TO so that I can keep playing the market while I wait for this stock to shoot upwards!

Diversifying and buying some stocks

Other investors have told me to have no more than 20% in any one stock but I still believe in NRI.TO so I will keep the remaining 70% but here are some stocks I have bought with my 30% sales.

  • 46000 shares of Brigadier Gold ltd  BRG-V at .02 cents
  • 14000 shares of Journey Resources corp  JNY-V at .05  cents
  • 8000 shares of Habanero resources inc  HAO-V at .135 cents
  • 7900 shares of Pinnacle Mines ltd  PNL-V at .23 cents
  • 10000 shares of Red Pine Exploration  RPX-V at .085 cents
  • 17250 shares of Seprotech System inc  SET-V at .04 cents
  • 6500 shares of Breakwater Resources  BWR-T at .28 cents
  • 16000 shares of Orsu Metals Corp  OSU-T  at .05 cents
  • 46000 shares of Tvi Pacific inc  TVI-T at .065 cents
And of coarse I still got my 58000 shares of Nuvo Research Inc  NRI  that i paid of an average of .325 cents a shares.
Discovering Bullboard
After I discovered the Bullboard, my trading has improved quite a bit, for example, on the above shares I bought, I’m already up 13% after a week! I take advantage of the honest investors with lots more experience than me to tell me their opinions and teach me better ways of trading. It’s very useful to me. If I am unsure about something, they can send me more information so I can do a very good decision on my stock purchases and sales.
Pumper and Dumpers
One segment of trading that you got to watch-out for are the Pumpers and Dumpers, these people will do anything to get a stock to shoot up with lies and then sell when the stock reaches its peak and it usually nosedives after.
I got a very positive feeling for the upcoming week!

All invested into NRI.TO

August 27th, 2009

I’ve been busy enjoying the summer, swimming in my one kilometer square bathtub, hunting chipmunks and singing Kumbaya at all hours of the day. What I have done is sold ALL my other stocks and put them all into NRI.TO. What this means is that I now have 90 800 shares of this company which I bought at an average of 32 cents a share. I am in a waiting game now excited at the possibilities!

23K in NRI.TO

July 26th, 2009

At close to 9 million trades a day, NUVO RESEARCH INC (NRI.TO) is really trading like crazy on the TSX. This caused it to gain 10% in just one day!

july272008-nri

So last week I sold another 10 companies at a 10-15% loss on average and put it all into NRI.TO. I now own 65 000 shares of this company at an average price of 36 cents per share. Each time it goes up a penny, I make 650$!

On the 5th of August, there is heavy speculation that the FDA will approve their anti-inflammation drug and within a year, the stock can grow by up to 2000%. I call this my Freedom 55 plan, if it decides to nosedive, I can still sell my stocks at a profit as the price will only go up for the next two weeks from which I still manage to make a nice chunk of money.

Gambling towards success

July 6th, 2009

I got a comment from Dave asking me why I win all the time…

Actually Dave, the reason I got such a good run is because I jumped into the market when it was at its bottom lowest, if I would have started two years ago, I fear things would have been very different and lost quite a substantial amount of money! I also make big mistakes, I still own over 20 companies that are losing money which I am waiting to turn a profit before getting rid of them at a profit. Just last week, I put 2500$ into a company that went bankrupt 3 days later! I lost all my money on that one. I lost lots of money when I invested in Canwest and Citigroup as well which I have written in this blog. I am overly aggressive when it comes to the stock market but that’s how I doubled my money, so sometimes I win big, other times I lose big.

Latest buys

My latest acquisitions are:

  • 10 000 shares of Crowflight Mineral (CML) for 21 cents a share
  • 6 000 shares of Eastern Platinum (ELR) for 58 cents a share
  • 15 000 shares of First Nickel (FNI) at 13.5 cents a share
  • 12 200 shares of High River Gold (HRG) at 22 cents a share
  • 20 000 shares of Nuvo Research Inc (NRI) at 34 cents a share

Nuvo Research Inc (NRI)

I have bought a ton of Nuvo Research shares, this company has discovered a new drug delivery system that is waiting FDA approval, if everything goes as planned on August 5th, 2009, the shares can go up 5 t0 10 fold in value within a very short amount of time. This will be my third gamble on a stock to get out of my 30-35K rut I have been in for a while, would be nice to have several hundred thousand for a change ;-) I will be selling other shares to buy more of this one.

Getting rid of my US Stocks

June 8th, 2009

I decided to get rid of all my US stocks since my last update on 2xStocks.com at a 15-20% loss. These stocks included General Motors, Citigroup, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and Sirus. With the Canadian dollar increasing in power over the greenback and these stocks not doing much of anything, it made no sense to keep them as I was getting dinged at both ends keeping them. Since my last update, here is what I have been busy doing.

Locking in some profits

  • I sold off my 2 000 shares of Shore Gold Inc. (SGF) at 75 cents a share after paying 41.5 cents 13 days ago giving me a 77% return on my money.
  • I sold all my Antrium Anergy (AEN) shares at 76 cents a share after paying 41 cents 35 days ago for all 1 200 shares.
  • I sold 5 000 shares of Taiga Building (TBL) at 20 cents a share after buying them for 11 cents 42 days ago.
  • I sold 3 000 shares of Dominion Citrus Income at 35 cents a share after paying 20 cents a share for them 14 days ago, a 65% return!
  • I sold 1 000 shares of Anvil Mining for 1.35$ a share after paying 1.05 cents a share 45 days ago, giving me 29% profits.
  • I sold my 3 000 shares in Automodulator Corp. (AM) at 32 cents a share after buying them at 19 cents a share 26 days ago which gave me a 72% return.

I got rid of two stocks that lost me 18%, my 1 000 shares in both UTS and LRI which I got tired of holding.

Buying some future profit makers

  • 25 000 shares of Earthfirst Canada Inc. (EF) at 3 cents a share
  • 36 000 shares in Turbo Power Systems Inc. (TPS) at 2.5 cents a share
  • 105 000 shares in Airiq Inc. (IQ) at 2.5 cents a share
  • 19 000 shares in Groupe Bikini Village Inc. at 4.5 cents a share
  • 1 000 shares of Uranium One at 1.75$ a share
  • 1 000 shares in Semafo Inc. (SMF) at 2.27$ a share
  • 7 500 shares in Atlantis Systems Corp (AIQ) at 3.5 cents a share
  • 100 000 shares in Excellon Resources Inc. at 1 cent a share

Taking a big gamble

I bought Catalyst Paper Corp 5 times already which gave me very good returns so this time around, I bought 50 000 shares at 17 cents a share, about 8 000$ worth! I got screwed when I gambled on Canwest and again with Citigroup, let’s hope that my third try works better! Already, it’s up 20% but I am hoping for a nice return in a very short time on these guys!

Selling GM at a loss but buying some potentials

May 17th, 2009

Monday of last week, I decided to take a gamble with GM after they made me a nice chunk of money back when I first started trading on the stock market but this time around, I lost 22% instead of making a hefty double digit return with a 2 200$ profit! I sold them at 1.45$ but bought them at 1.69$ a share. This is a good thing as I did this about a week ago and since then, the shares have dropped big time.

I also sold my 7 000 shares of ACU for 55 cents after buying them for 15 cents a share 16 days ago, giving me a 165% return :-) I also sold my 2 000 shares of SGF at 75 cents after I paid 41.5 cents a share 13 days ago, a 77% return! Sure beats leaving money in a savings account!

I bought 6 000 shares of MGX (MGM Energy Corp) for 17 cents a share, 5 000 shares of Delta Uranium Inc. (DUR) for 10 cents a share, 5 000 shares of Dominium Citrus Income fund at 20 cents a share, 20 000 shares of CBM Mahalo Energy Ltd. at 2.5 cents a share and finally 1 400 shares of HEM Hemisphere GPS at 1.20$ a share.

My first 2000$ Day!

May 7th, 2009

I started the day yesterday with exactly 30 177.96$ and by the end of it, my portfolio grew to 32 442.52$! The TSX grew by 2.66% and I grew by 10.25% :-)

Locking-in my TLC and CMT

On the first day I entered the stock market, November 21st, 2008, I bought 2 000 shares of TLC which at one time dipped to 13 cents a share, I have now sold them at 46 cents a share for a net return of 20% over five months. When things go bad, sometimes it’s good to just hang-on till they recover.

I also sold 1 100 shares of CMT for 1.21$ a share, a net profit of 30% over the course of 28 days :-)

Buying six new companies

I decided to buy

  • 1 000 shares of General Motors (GM) at 1.69$/share
  • 6 000 shares of MGM Energy Corp (MGX) at 17 cents a share
  • 3 000 shares of Sirus XM Radio (SIRI) at 51 cents a share
  • 5 000 shares of Freegold Ventures Ltd. (ITF) for 19 cents a share
  • 10 000 shares of Adanac Molybdenum (AUA) for 9 cents a share
  • 2 000 shares of Eastern Platinum Ltd. (ELR) at 61 cents a share

Future Goals

I started investing in the stock market with exactly 15 720$ and over the course of a little over five months, I made 107% returns on that cash. I now plan on reaching 50 000$ over the course of the rest of the year, so I got 6 months of hard work ahead of me to get 18 000$ in profits.

15K to 30K in less than 6 months! I did it!

May 5th, 2009

It took me five and a half months but I finally doubled my money using only the stock market. Yahoo! I would like to thank the investors who bought my shares high after I bought them low, the Toronto Stock Market for giving me the easiest job I ever had and the frozen squirrels that have given me sustenance over the cold winter months in my wood cabin!

I started off with 15K and now I have 30K which is very nice indeed… more buying power to make even more gains on my original investment! My portfolio shows an exact value of 30 071.08$ :-)

Selling some nice gains

I decided to drop AIG, the 2000 shares I bought gave me an 11% return in 14 days at 1.39$ a share but I am tired of this company already… I just can’t long-haul these guys! I also sold my 180 shares in General Electric (GE) for 12.66$ a share, 6% for 9 days “work” isn’t bad. I sold my 1500 shares of WTN at 1.45$ giving me a 75% return in 22 days, my 3600 shares of HAE at 5 cents a share giving me a 71% profit for 20 days and 7500 shares of RWR at 18 cents a share, giving me 87% returns for 19 days :-)

Now… what’s next?

I now have just under 10 grand now to invest back into stocks… some serious decisions need to be made!

Selling 4 to buy 5

April 26th, 2009

I have been very busy so here is an update as to what happened in the past few days.

I have sold 4 companies

  • Allen Vanguard Corporation (VRS.TO) which I sold at what I paid for them (no loss, no gain)
  • Arise Techs Corporation (APV.TO) which I bought 2 000 shares of for 40.5 cents and sold for 61 cents giving me a 48% profit after 54 days
  • Azure Dynamics Corporation (AZD.TO) which I bought 8 000 shares of for 5 cents and sold 9 days later for 8.5 cents a share giving me a 65% return
  • Sandvine Corporation (SVC.TO) which I sold for 1.24 cents a share giving me a 17% return after 60 days

I have bought 5 new companies

  • 1 500 shares of Conjuchem Biotechs (CJB.TO) at 12 cents a share
  • 180 shares of General Electric (GE) for 11 cents a share
  • 2 000 shares of Magindustries Corporation (MAA.V) for 35 cents a share
  • 2 000 shares of Shore Gold Inc. (SGF) at 41.5 cents a share
  • 3 000 shares of Automodular Corporation (AM.TO) at 19 cents a share

On Monday, I plan on buying about 6 000 shares of Catalyst Paper Corp (CTL.TO) for about 17 cents a share.

Hello, my name is Marcel and I want to welcome to my blog about how to double your money using nothing but the stock market! I have managed to do this myself and look forward to sharing my knowledge with you. I will be recording each and every entry on this blog.
