Obama cost me 1362$ but I still made a 77% profit!
Looking at the stock market over the past, the incoming of a new American president, for some reason, causes the stock market to drop. I didn’t know about this but I am unconcerned as it’s just a waiting game till they come back. The result of not knowing? I lost 1362$ today in my portfolio. I was just shy of hitting 30 000 but now I just have to be patient and sell a bunch of stock in the coming days as the stock market gets over it’s shock. As I mentioned earlier, losses don’t count unless I sell, which I haven’t so this means very little to me.

77% gain, netting me an easy 600$ profit in 13 trading days!
I had bought 5 000 shares of Resin Systems Inc. on December 31st, 2008 for 14.5 cents a share (725$) and sold them today at 26.5 cents a share (1325$), netting me a 77% or 600$ return on my initial investment. The first time I bought and sold this company I made 47% return in 5 days so this is a stock that I watch very closely.
