Selling Canwest and buying something worth a damn!
I finally sold all my holding in Canwest, yes, all 20 000 shares! I bought them at 52 cents a share and offloaded them at 29 cents a share… it didn’t feel very good but I learned a lot from this experience so I consider it an expensive education that I will not soon forget. This company just seemed to go from bad to worse with absolutely nothing looking nice.
Buying BBD.B, AVM, LUN and MAL
With the money I made from selling my shares in Canwest, I decided to buy:
- 600 shares of Bombardiet (BBD.B) at 2.95 dollars a share
- 1 000 shares of Anvil Mining (AVM) at 1.05 dollars a share
- 800 shares of Lundin Mining (LUN) at 1.49 dollars a share
- 2 000 shares of Magellan (MAL)
Sold Grande Cache Coal
It was a busy day yesterday, as I also sold 1 000 shares of Grande Cache Coal Corp (GCE) which I originally paid 60 cents a share for but was ablet o sell for 1.22 dollars a share 16 days later!
